Pan Oceanic Seeds understands the importance of field testing and trials for before releasing and marketing the seeds in different geographies. We undertake contract seed production to test for a variety of factors that helps agriculturists, government bodies, biotechnology and food industries and agricultural commodity suppliers in making informed decisions. Our research services include Bioefficacy (GEP), Environmental Chemistry (GLP), Ecotoxicology, Analytical services, Public and Animal Health, Program management/Study Direction and Regulatory.

We test seeds under laboratory conditions as well as field trials to understand and report:

  • Crop variety evaluation
  • Trait development
  • Abiotic stress testing
  • Drought stress testing
  • Nitrogen use efficacy testing
  • Biofuel variety testing
  • Seed treatment testing
  • Silage variety testing
  • Protein expression
  • Nutrient composition
  • Agronomic equivalence evaluation

Through this digital system it will be possible to obtain authentic verifiable information on field conditions in real time

The information thus collected will be converted into weekly reports to all our clients. Clients will be able to obtain data on the farmers involved, crop condition, expected date of harvest, etc.

Practices Followed

ownfarmAll standard production procedures are followed. This includes sanitation, accurate pollination, maintaining isolation, etc.

Our main strengths lie in

  • Excellent relationships with farmers and considerable farmer contacts
  • Field activities monitored by dedicated and experienced team with a thorough knowledge of quality control
  • Survey and Selection of new production areas is a continuous practice so that production can be taken up in disease-free areas
  • Calibrating sowing and planting dates to suit production areas and other variables
